Chris begin his professional driving instruction on the staff of Brumos Porsche Driving School in the mid-1980's under the guidance of five-time 24 hour of Le Mans winner and world renowned sports car champion, Hurley Haywood. Chris was then recruited by two-time world sports car champion Derek Bell as Chief Instructor for the Porsche Precision Driving School.

In 1992, Michelle Trueman of the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, hired Chris to start the Mid Ohio School, a high performance and competition driving school based at at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Under Chris's direction as Chief Instructor, Mid Ohio became the premier performance driving school in the country.
